6 MEETINGS (2 lessons per week, for 3 weeks, every Saturday and Sunday), from September 6th to September 21st 2025;

9am-1:30 pm , including coffee break (compulsory attendance or to be recovered in case of absence: read at the bottom of the page): official Estill curriculum

2pm-3:30pm (optional sessions): guests, Q&A, Open coaching, insights.

SUITABLE FOR: Singers, actors, singing teachers, spoken-voice teachers, speech therapists.

LEVEL: Both beginner and advanced

WHAT ESTILL IS NEEDED FOR:

All Estill exercises, including work on vocal qualities, can be applied both to the singing voice and to the spoken voice.

EVT can teach actors and singers to improve the effectiveness of vocal production, better manage the effort of performance, optimize muscle work and the role of breathing, vary the tones based on the character or style, lighten or darken the voice, clean it or “dirty” it, increase or eliminate the nasalization to “characterize” a character, increase the projection, audibility and volume of the voice, control all the structures that contribute to the production of vowels and consonants in order to work on a more conscious diction and easily master the accents of different languages, of different dialects (and sociolects), and much more.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

This course is for anyone who wishes to improve their singing or speaking voice – singers, actors, singing teachers, acting teachers, speech therapists and other vocal health professionals.

Level 1: Figures for Voice Control™  the mechanics of speech and singing. During this course, students are introduced to the 13 vocal structures that affect voice quality. Each structure produces a range of different vocal sound effects. Figures for Voice Control™ are exercises used to develop a predictable control of the condition of each structure. The skills developed in Level One will help you add strength, clarity and stamina to your voice!

New vocal skills are trained in small group sessions throughout the day.
Participants who desire to explore the applications of the figures based on their repertoire and individual goals can participate in open coaching sessions, if time is available.

There will also be ample space for questions and discussions.

The course will include guest lecturers who will present short presentations on complementary subjects, included in the total of 30 hours, not included in the Estill curriculum and that will not reduce the 24 hours of guaranteed Estill programme.

FIRST STEP: on EVI site at this link. During this step you pay the 150$ of Estill Resources that include the Workbook and the video course, paying the fee directly to EVI – Estill Voice International.

SECOND STEP: After registering on EVI site, you will be redirected back to this page, where you can complete your registration and payment from the menu at the bottom of the page.

N.B:

The names of the guest lecturers and practice group leaders will be announced in the coming weeks.

The dates and times may be changed due to force majeure.

Teachers, in case of sudden unavailability, may be replaced with teachers of equal qualification for the type of work required (EMCI for presentations, EMT for practice), either occasionally/ temporarily or until the end of the course.

To receive the certificate from EVI – Estill Voice International, you must attend 100% of the official Estill lessons (sessions from 9:00am to 1:30pm). Sessions from 2pm, although recommended, are optional for the purpose of obtaining the certificate.

Any absences may be recovered according to the following terms, accepted at the time of registration: 

– Participants who purchase the course by paying the full fee (460€) and who do not enjoy any discount or facilities, are entitled to a single free recovery during the course. Every week, at a time to be agreed and if necessary, there will be a group recovery class for those absent who are entitled.

– The frequency of recoveries for those absent who are not entitled to them (who enjoy discounts and facilities) has a cost of 50 € to be paid before the recovery.

– You can buy in advance the possibility to recover an absence at a discounted price of 30€ if paid before the beginning of the course. No refund is provided in the case where the absence does not actually take place, or where recovery after payment cannot be enjoyed. The time of recovery is determined by the teachers in agreement with the eligible persons. It is therefore not guaranteed that it will take place at a time convenient to all those entitled.

– The frequency of recovery sessions as a review for those who have not been absent is free.

In case the student absent from the main session is absent or cannot enjoy the recovery, the lesson can be recovered with a private lesson for a fee or in another course following the instructions of the mentor.
