COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course takes up most of the material used from 2013 to 2018 during the “Musical Vocal Training II” and “Musical Vocal Training III” classes I held at the Graduated School of Performing Arts, Musical Theater Department of “Hongik University” in Seoul. The material is based on the principles of EVT – Estill Voice Training and includes detailed explanations of anatomy, physiology and acoustics. However, it is mostly focused on the applications related to vocal performance with particular regard of singing performance. The course can be useful for both performers and teachers, and of course, for students of any level regardless of their previous training.
To maximize the effectiveness of the course, I recommend combining it with occasional private lessons, even if just once a month and for no longer than 30 minutes (depending on the starting level and the learning speed of the student), as it actually happened during my courses at Hongik.
